Model CN3RTP is a reverse TNC (RP-TNC) plug or male crimp connector sized to fit AIR802® CA240, Times Microwave LMR240®, RG8X, Belden 9258 and equivalent size 50 ohm impedance cables. This connector consists of three parts: the body, ferrule and pin.

RP-TNC connectors are reverse polarity versions of the TNC connector which is a miniature threaded versions of the BNC connector with 50 ohm impedance. There are both TNC and RP-TNC type connectors. It is quite common for these to be confused. The TNC male has a pin protruding. However the RP-TNC male has a center receptacle thus causing those unfamiliar to be confused. We often use the terms plug for male and jack for female since plug and jack tend to lead to less confusion. RP-TNC connectors are utilized in a broad range of applications including Wi-Fi.
