This USB 2.0 extension cable offers a type A male connector on one end and a type A female connector on the opposite end.  This usb extension cable's color is black and is 3 feet in length. It is offered for optional use with our USB-ADG-1 adapter. This allows a user not to have to plug the USB adapter directly into the computer but to have the USB adapter lying on a table, desk or floor three feet away from the computer. This is particularly useful if you are attaching a heavier cable, such as our CA400 cable into the USB adapter directly so that the weight of the cable is not on the adapter directly.
